As discussed in previous series, EQ plays an important role in life and work. If emotional intelligence levels are low, integrating into society and the workplace will certainly be difficult. In addition, people with low EQ may be more likely to experience psychological and behavioral problems; becoming disconnected from the world around them is entirely possible.
Determine Your Current EQ – Emotional Intelligence Level
Whether for individuals or businesses, identifying and measuring EQ levels is essential. This is especially true for companies focused on human development and organizations that train public-facing professionals. To improve EQ, the first step is to identify the current level of each indicator using assessment tools such as tests, or by conducting activities that place participants in different contexts. Combining both approaches creates a 360-degree assessment for participants.
For businesses, assessment professionals can quickly determine from the EQ Test report, together with additional observation, whether an employee has emotional gaps, is truly suited to the position, how to support their development, what training methods to use, the general level of emotional intelligence within each team or organization, whether employees are aligned with the company culture, and how to address any shortcomings.
For individuals, determining EQ levels through tests is the fastest way to measure the gap between the starting point and the desired goal. It also helps identify how to improve these indicators and which types of work are best suited to the individual’s EQ.
Methods for Measuring EQ – Emotional Intelligence
Emotional Quotient EQ – SWOT

Choose the test that best suits your circumstances and needs.
What Makes EQ-SWOT Outstanding
In the EQ-SWOT test, participants have limited ability to manipulate their answers because the system records the time spent on each question. Time limits are also set to prevent participants from losing focus or intentionally extending the test. This produces more objective answers, even though the assessment is based on self-awareness.
In addition, the report uses a 1–10 scoring scale, making it clear and easy to understand. Assessment is also straightforward because it is based on the SWOT model, which is widely used across many fields.

After each test, suggestions for improving lower EQ scores help participants identify suitable ways to develop themselves.
What Does the SWOT Model in EQ Reveal?
The EQ profile clearly shows the areas that need improvement and the strengths that should be further developed. As a result, making adjustments in work, study, or daily life becomes easier.
The SWOT model above is analyzed using the formula Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. Through assessments, observations, and reflective questions, participants can connect their skills with their current roles and identify ways to improve weaknesses in order to meet job requirements.
Beyond the SWOT model, EQ-SWOT also helps participants identify and analyze their lowest-scoring skills, then provides detailed development suggestions. This is a remarkable feature of the report that few assessments offer.
