More than 90% of people worldwide cannot answer this question!
The Easiest Yet Hardest Question in the World
Who am I?
Haven’t we all asked ourselves that question at least once in our lives? And haven’t many of us spent years struggling without ever finding the answer? Answering that question is like solving more than half the puzzle of life. Yet many people reach the point when they can no longer ask it without ever having found an answer.
No one in this world understands us better than we understand ourselves. And yet, even we do not fully understand who we are…
With every passing year, confusion and anxiety arise more frequently when we lack a clear understanding of ourselves. Not understanding ourselves means not knowing which direction to take or what career to choose. As a result, the future also becomes deeply uncertain.
Every person is born with certain distinctive qualities. Just as monkeys can climb trees and fish can swim in water, these are entirely natural things in this world. But what if a fish does not know that it is a fish or that it is good at swimming? It will look around and may try to climb trees like a monkey, run like a leopard, or hunt like a lion, without ever becoming good at anything.
And more than 90% of the people on Earth are like that fish.
“Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its entire life believing that it is stupid.” – [Albert Einstein]
Not fully understanding our own abilities often leaves us feeling inferior because we perform poorly at school, choose the wrong career, work for years without advancing, or fall in love with and marry the wrong person, …
Would you like to know how to find the answers to these questions? Or do you want to remain that “fish” forever?
A Solution for Fully Understanding Your Abilities
There are currently many assessments around the world that help identify human capabilities and personality traits. Each method has its own advantages. Fingerprint biometrics can help measure a person’s strengths and innate instincts. However, these factors may change considerably through learning and work and are also heavily influenced by the external environment. Other assessments, such as MBTI and DISC, consist of a series of questions designed to identify a person’s tendencies. However, participants often answer these questions rather subjectively.
In addition to the methods above, the Uchida-Kraepelin (UK) test is also widely used to identify psychological changes, measure capabilities, and predict patterns of human activity. The UK test involves numerous very simple addition calculations (using numbers from 0 to 9). One advantage of the UK test is that it is easy to administer and apply on a large scale; even children can take it, provided they know how to add numbers.
Although it is simple, the assessment draws you in throughout the process. Our minds become 100% focused. This makes the diagnostic results exceptionally objective and accurate. The behaviors displayed while taking the assessment reflect each person’s everyday habits.
From the UK assessment results, you can learn:
- The general psychological characteristics of ours
- Learning productivity and ability to take on work whether there are many or few, and how accurate they are. From these evaluations, you can determine how much pressure you can handle.
- Understand your own learning and working style. You may start rather slowly but remain highly persistent, making you well suited to work such as customer service, administration, or human resources. Or you may get started very quickly but soon become bored, in which case creative work may be a much better fit.
- Understand what you enjoy and what suits you. From there, you can measure the gap between where you are now and where you want to be in the future. This allows you to make adjustments and plan for yourself quickly. You will no longer have to spend so much time doing things that do not suit you.
- Measure unusual psychological changes that may arise from pressure or one’s living environment, allowing preventive or corrective measures to be taken very early.
In addition, another assessment that can help you understand yourself is Trait-map. The Trait-map assessment takes only 15 minutes and is conducted entirely online. Despite its brevity, Trait-map produces highly accurate results and is widely used in Europe and the Americas. Trait-map results are based primarily on 5 key aspects:
- Social behavior
- Focus on work
- Emotional dimension
- Openness
- Burnout risk
Scores from these five aspects clearly reflect your tendencies in how you act at work, as well as in social activities and the relationships around you. In particular, the “Burnout Risk” aspect, available only in Trait-map, shows your ability to balance work and personal life.
Drawing on those same 5 traits, Trait-map provides detailed feedback on 25 personality characteristics. By looking at the results table, you will learn what your strengths are so you can find an environment where they can flourish, as well as what your weaknesses are so you can find ways to improve them. After all, aren’t we all merely guessing about our own strengths and weaknesses?
Once you identify your personality tendencies, you will better understand which work suits you and aligns with your natural inclinations. If you are optimistic, cheerful, open, and a confident communicator, why sit alone laboring over accounting records instead of trying customer service or service consulting? Conversely, if you are reserved, meticulous, and consistently thorough in your work, why not pursue administration or accounting instead of sales?
Whether you take UK or Trait-map, completing a psychological and aptitude assessment is like finding a way to “look inside” yourself, to discover what has always existed within you. Once you identify the issue, the solution will naturally emerge. These assessments do not label who you are or determine whether you are good or bad, capable or incapable. They simply help you recognize WHO YOU ARE, so that you can find the path to adjustment, growth, and success that is right for you.
Start loving yourself from this very moment!
Many people like to use “trial and error.” Whenever they make a mistake, they correct it. There is nothing wrong with that! It gives them valuable experience, but it costs a great deal of time and money.
There are also people who simply accept that they made the wrong choice. They keep doing a job they dislike. Their 8 hours at the company are 8 hours of “misery.” But because they need their monthly salary, they have to accept it. And so they lose nearly 1/3 of their lives simply enduring it.
Why do you accept these things?
Why wait until you are 50 or 60 to realize that the job was never right for you?
Why not make the right choice from the very beginning?
Understanding is the foundation of love. You do not even understand yourself, so you allow yourself to struggle for years with the wrong choices—choices you would never have made if you had understood yourself from the outset. Why have you not learned to love yourself?
By now, you have probably recognized your problem. All that remains is to overcome “procrastination” and make a rapid change. Time and opportunity are precious and both have an “expiration date,” often a very short one. With every day that passes, you prolong the “time of suffering” and shorten the “moments of happiness” in your life.
Time is opportunity, and every opportunity is bound by time!
Seek to understand yourself as early as possible so that success and happiness can come sooner. That is the best way to love and appreciate yourself.
